about those biscuits

the art of memoir supervised by yours truly, gets some press with a non-sequitur about Ansonia thrown in. I must tell you that while this class is winding down, I was strong-armed into another session yesterday, which will begin in June. I look forward to regaling you with more second-hand tales about those biscuits, getting caught chewing tobacco, and the blue teapot. Until then, here is this week's writing assignment, boys and girls:

LOVE!
This week, write about love. Even when a lot of time has passed, we can often recall the locations and places where we spent with the object of our affection. Remember the times you shared and the things you did together.

If you are bored with love in your own life, you can write about anyone in your life whose relationship, from your perspective, seemed really magical or special (even baffling!)

On a largely unrelated note, I am very excited about this new reading series at Anchor Bar
