Hey people
since we didn't meet here are some sites to wish were as cool as club:
general reference librarian's resource
52 projects there are a bunch of sub-links from this page that rule, including a link to the scariest, realest thing I ever heard on NPR, this story about this guy who was lobotomized by his parents. this is rough stuff, be ready.
I made sarah do a writing exercise via phone that anyone else can participate in. Stuart is your lead character. He is dating someone who does not like the kind of pet he has, but is trying to conceal this pet from this person. You can also spell his name "Stewart."
Also, I'd like to point out that all of the comments on the previous post are by me. Because no one else seems to have the energy for the blogger word verification.
Tra-la, Happy Tuesday
Also note that Movies & Mimosas next weekend (the 12th) is Harold & Maude and I will be there, with bells on.

i am enduring the word verification just to show you i care, beth.
thanks for the links and for making me do some writing last night. it felt foreign and strange.
also...harold & maude - definitely. must make sure to not stay up until all hours of the morning as part of "saturday night."
Or if you do stay up late, "Miller-style" as I like to call it, you just have to last through the film, which I'd guess lasts until maybe 1 Pm. Then I'll personally roll you home in a wheelbarrow, so you feel especially rustic.
hmmm, ms. royer. i believe that this week's sunday film is "moonstruck," a far cry from harold & maude.
but when it is time for h&m (hehe...not the store), maybe i will play it "miller style." who needs sleep when there's booze to be had and movies to be watched!!
It's Moonstruck (puke!!). Harold and Maude is the following Sunday. Friday, though, is Raging Bull. Good Scorcese is Cinema with a capital C.
Also: Buns!
Love,
Forget About it Rick
Did no one notice that I said next weekend (the 12th) which means of course I am fully aware that M & M this week SUCKS! Moonstruck! WTF? I am just anticipating the greatness of Harold & Maude on the big screen. Cat Stevens, Bud Cort, the tree rescue mission.
I will be in the 80s this weekend at the Crystal Palace Casino in the Bahamas. When I return on Monday I will regale CLUB (which will happen, goddammmit!) with tales of the tropics, conch salad, and my sunburned nose. Or something like that.
that's funny...just before going to the comments i realized that you had put the date in. it's all my fault. such a jerk.
speaking of jerks, the bahamas?!?!?! sister, you suck. i want the warmth. damn.
when i think of you at that resort i can't help but picture steve's story about the wild boar gorging that chocolate-cake-lovin-guy. (what an evocative piece that was, steve!) look out for those wild boars!
