S.E. Hinton, author of the Outsiders, is interviewed in today's New York Times. There is one piece of the article that I would like to hear more about. It says, "She has her weekly writing group, and she says she reads Jane Austen annually." She still lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she grew up.
