meeting notes, August 8, 2005

Without Sally, there are few meeting notes. The food was delicious, if I do say so myself. Also, there was sangria, which may make a re-appearance, if it is not all consumed before I leave for Chicago on Friday morning. Here are the only notes I have: "I'm getting bogged down by details, let's get to the pudding!" (me)
"The poet in you came in at that point." S.R.
All over this I wrote, "THEO WOULD HAVE LOVED THE PUDDING!"
S.R. also suggests I buckle down and actually finish one of my many unresolved tales. I cackle wildly, because it is so true. The notebook pictured above is full of 2/3 unfinished tales. I get this nice pep-talk from steve all about it, and mapping plots and other stuff I intend to do, but then never get around to.
Books suggested for reading during meeting: Stranger in a Strange Land, Sirens of Titan, Photographing Fairies, and Veronica by Nicholas Christopher.
Over and out, NHWCers. We missed you Sally!
